Do any of you remember my visitors the Battys? They came in late July and NEVER LEFT. I don't think they had ever heard the old adage about visitors, fish and smelling after a few days. Anyway, two of them left yesterday, and you'll be pleased to know that your favourite correspondent was there to record it all.
Norah, Little Red and Blondie bathed before leaving for their new home.
Blondie always spends forever in the shower, which is really irritating.
However, it always smelt wonderful after she used her favourite shower gel.
I just cropped the photo, and guess what? That is MY shower gel that Blondie is using. What a cheek!
Alan gets really mad when she uses his bath as she always leaves loads of pubic hair in the plughole!
Norah is the only one staying on with us. Most of the time she isn't too bad, and at least she had the decency to bring her own soap and facecloth with her.
Oh, she told me to let you know that she may go to JJ market again this week to buy more of this soap. Please phone her if you want her to pick some up for you.
Alan has been so sweet about the Battys staying with us, but honestly, he just couldn't wait for Little Red and Blondie to go. He said they were too disruptive. Well, he said that, but we can all see the tears in his eyes as he waves them goodbye, so he must have liked them a bit.
And talking of tears, just look at Norah blubbing away there!
Jill came to collect Little Red and Blondie. She has no idea what she is letting herself in for. I told her that she will be their fourth hostess in Bangkok, so doesn't that tell her something?
I think Jill did have second thoughts though, when Blondie blew her nose on her best hankie. She told me she'd have to bleach it now. Yuk!
Finally they were out the door. I breathed a huge sigh of relief. It had only been a few months, but boy did we have some fun.
BYE!!!!!!!!
Great Post!!!
ReplyDeleteYou and Alan are too much and I am happy that Alan has finally gotten rid of the room mates. They really were rather demanding as all good
battys tend to get if they are neglected too long. I'm happy they have found a new home.
Definitely a woman with too much time on her hands!!!!
